I have set my sights on producing on a new recording. It is all conceptual at this point, but I feel that it is high time to make a statement on the guitar. I have been working to build up endurance in the length of time I can play and on strength in general. Sarah has helped me out a lot by singing with me, and we've had some really nice moments. We videotaped "Stella" and it sounded great. We decided we looked nuts, so it is not going up on the site. I have had some nice sessions with other players, as well.

I have taken Sunday nights at Dizzy's in Brooklyn for a while. I am excited about running through these standards again with a fresh perspective, especially in such a relaxed atmosphere. I think a person can only dedicate their life to an instrument because they find intrinsic value in playing. If there are other rewards, so be it. It has been quite challenging to find something to replace the time I used to spend playing. I generally get what I am looking for in photography.
I have been selecting images for a photography exhibit at Dizzy's in Park Slope. It will start November 15th and run for a month. They feature a local artist every month. Peter and I made a trip to 125th street to shoot photos not too long ago. Check out his work through my link if you are unfamiliar with him. My negatives were botched in processing, but I will put up one that I salvaged on the photos page. We have discussed a trip down to Mississippi to photograph, so perhaps we could work that out.
